MY OLD MOM'S THOUGHTS ON THE "23 THINGS PROJECT" AND MINE TOO!

The entire purpose behind the "23 Things Project" was to Explore, Discover and Play.
I enjoyed blogging and using the online image generators the most. I used my web html skills to add gadgets to my blogspot blog.

My family and co-workers enjoyed reading my blog which was the “diary of a pit bull puppy” and we laughed together about the photos on it. I enjoyed being creative in making “Ace, the puppy” do the 23 Things and his comments as a puppy were sometimes funny.

I noticed that some items on the “23 Things Project” took more than 15 minutes to review and wondered how every staff person was going to find the time in their work day to complete.

I also wondered how all the people on Facebook and MySpace find time to keep their pages up to date. Are they staying home working on the computer rather than meeting with their friends “face to face”. Maybe that is why some individuals never make eye contact, are not "people friendly" and are so impatient doing such things as “waiting in lines” and “don’t know how to react to problems such as “ the cable going out" or "no electricity”.

Can you imagine if every day – you felt compelled to make an entry into your blog, check your e-mail accounts, update your facebook or myspace, check your voicemail, do twitter, put pictures on snapfish, search the internet and search you tube and do some online chatting? When would you find time to “visit with friends”, “shop”, “walk the dog”, “workout”, “read” and “work”?

It is all about choices – what do you want to do with your time?

Overall I learned many new skills but life is too short to be tethered to my computer or phone.
I want to Explore, Discover and Play Untethered.

A LIFE ON A TETHER IS NO LIFE AT ALL!

So true, Ace's mom. Face to Face is sooo much better!
