AGILITY CLASSES AT WAGSWORTH

I graduated beginner agility classes at Wagsworth Manor with Julie. Louie the other dog- graduated too. We got a certificate with our names on it. I learned to go through the tunnel, do the jumps ( tire jump and regular), the dog walk, A frame and now we are starting to learn the teeter totter and put all our obstacles together and do more than one at a time off the leash.

Mom bought some equipment so we can practice at home doing some of the things. It is fun and Mom gets tired too running with me. Next class starts in 3 weeks.

This is how I relax when I get home. I am dog tired.

NEW FAMILY MEMBER

Khlea and I have a new baby friend named Alex. He was born 4 days ago. He is only 7 1/2 pounds and 21 inches. He is very tiny and we have to be careful not to jump up on young mom when she is holding him or we might hurt him. Khlea has seen him but I haven't. Old mom is really excited about her new grandchild. Khlea is sleeping over at our house for awhile so I have to share my space with her. This is what Khlea and I do on hot days - we lay around preferably in front of a fan.

JUNE IS HERE!

I have been busy waiting for my young mom to deliver her baby. A little boy - I will be an uncle.
I have also had 2 classes of beginner agility at Wagsworth Manor. I have learned the jump, the dog walk, the tunnel, the table and started on the teeter totter. I like pleasing my mom and making her happy and she smiles alot and gives me treats and kisses when I do good. I like it too if it wasn't so hot - I wouldn't get so tired. I sure Mom will take pictures soon of me doing these new tricks.

BUSY MONTH OF MAY

My young mom is going to have a baby any day now. A little boy named "Alex" I can't wait to see him and neither can old mom. That is all she talks about. I love to go outside and play in the muddy back yard and my white neck has become grey. So guess who got a bath and then a new collar and frontline stuff? Me... I look great - a handsome devil even if I must say so myself. Here is a video of how wound up I was after my bath.

Last night was my first Agility class. I like Wagsworth Manor and class was fun. I jumped over the jumps and walked the plank and heeled my mom. I will practice with mom and learn more stuff. Maybe I will lose some inches around my waist too. My butt looks big.

HOT AND COLD DAYS OF MAY

I spend a lot of time with Khlea running around the back yard and looking for squirrels to bark at. Sometimes we just chill out on Mom's bed especially after Puppy Day Care which makes us both tired.

BUSY DAYS FOR THIS 2 YEAR OLD DOG

My 2nd birthday is this month. Happy Birthdog(day) to me. I love my life - I have a nice family and Khlea is there for me. I take car trips to Petsmart and on errand and to the Poconos and back. I go to Day care once a week and next week I am starting agility training which should be fun for mom and me. I am a lucky pampered dog.

The hot weather is getting to me this year - it is 60 degrees out and nice and then 80 degrees and hot the next day. I love my bed and the fan running while I sleep. I also love to cuddle pillows anywhere - on the sofa or on my bed. Aren't I cute!!!! I am in touch with my feminine side.

COLD DAYS IN EXTON IN BACKYARD

Mom doesn't need a mower for the backyard, Khlea and I are keeping it pretty mowed. There is hardly any grass left but plenty of our toys and chewed up things. Actually it probably looks ugly to our neighbors. Maybe I will gather up our stuff and put it in special place. Mom will need to throw some grass seed around so we don't get so muddy when it rains.

WARM WEEK AT MARSH CREEK STATE PARK

Ace loves to swim and cool himself off. I have him on a long leash. He loves to swim in the cold water and chase after the ball.

WARM WEEKEND IN THE POCONOS

Warm weekend in the Poconos. Mom and I left and went up Wednesday night and stayed until Monday. She had a lot of work to do. She washed the decks, emptied the hot tub and painted chairs. Dan, Sharon and Melissa came for a visit too. I got to play with Khlea and played tug of war and chased her around the house. I went on walks with Dan and Sharon and watched Khlea run with Melissa. I saw deer in the back yard and rubbed in their stuff before Mom could catch me.

Mom outsmarted me. She vacummed the rug with a water bottle in one hand aimed at me and the vacuum in the other. I hate that water bottle. I always like to attack, bark at and bite the vacuum. It looks like a monster to me.

Dan was my favorite person this weekend. He hated me to lick him so I always snuck up on him and sneeked one on the leg or on his arm when he was half asleep then he would wrestle me and rough house. He is fun!!!

COLD WEEKEND OF MARCH 27 AND 28

Khlea and I love to play in the backyard with all our tug of war toys. I usually pull Khlea around in circles. We also visited Kerr Park and posed in front of this wierd tangled tree. I did some swimming in the Brandywine. That tennis ball kept floating down stream but I got it and brought it back to old mom. I wondered why there weren't any dogs around and as we were ready to leave I saw a "No Dogs" Sign. Oops..... Oh well I am not a dog anyway.
