MY LIFE

Mom is home all the time now. She was laid off after 22 years of working at library. I am still going to Toby's K9 Kamp and I see Khlea all the time. Alex visits a lot too. Mom is also starting to write again. Yeah - a new story on me- a Children's book for Alex. Enjoy the new photos.

Busy week for me

Two day cares- Monday at Toby's K9 Kamp and Wednesday at Wagsworth Manor.
Thursdays and Fridays - I usually play all day with Khlea - my best pal. I had a visit to the vet last week for all my shots and Mom had to muzzle me again. I don't like the vet - she always sticks with needles. Noone would like that? Mom held me and said - everything was all right then we went home. I was so happy to be at home again. I like my home and feel so lucky to have a good master. I kiss her every morning to wake her up!!!

NEW FAMILY MEMBER

Khlea and I have a new baby friend named Alex. He was born 4 days ago. He is only 7 1/2 pounds and 21 inches. He is very tiny and we have to be careful not to jump up on young mom when she is holding him or we might hurt him. Khlea has seen him but I haven't. Old mom is really excited about her new grandchild. Khlea is sleeping over at our house for awhile so I have to share my space with her. This is what Khlea and I do on hot days - we lay around preferably in front of a fan.

JUNE IS HERE!

I have been busy waiting for my young mom to deliver her baby. A little boy - I will be an uncle.
I have also had 2 classes of beginner agility at Wagsworth Manor. I have learned the jump, the dog walk, the tunnel, the table and started on the teeter totter. I like pleasing my mom and making her happy and she smiles alot and gives me treats and kisses when I do good. I like it too if it wasn't so hot - I wouldn't get so tired. I sure Mom will take pictures soon of me doing these new tricks.

BUSY MONTH OF MAY

My young mom is going to have a baby any day now. A little boy named "Alex" I can't wait to see him and neither can old mom. That is all she talks about. I love to go outside and play in the muddy back yard and my white neck has become grey. So guess who got a bath and then a new collar and frontline stuff? Me... I look great - a handsome devil even if I must say so myself. Here is a video of how wound up I was after my bath.

Last night was my first Agility class. I like Wagsworth Manor and class was fun. I jumped over the jumps and walked the plank and heeled my mom. I will practice with mom and learn more stuff. Maybe I will lose some inches around my waist too. My butt looks big.

NEW COLLAR

Old mom bought me a new leather collar that is 2" wide and has my name on it so she won't call me the wrong name and it is really tough looking. I scare people just because of it and my prong collar. I still like my soft afghan even though I am a tough guy.

I barked at the vet last night and had to be muzzled to get my kennel cough shot. Maybe I would like her if she didn't always give me a needle in the neck. Oh well mom still loves me so that is all that matters. Take a look at my blingy collar.

ADVENTURES IN APRIL

Wow!!! I am busy this month- I am going to Puppy Day Care at Toby's K9 Kamp, going to Puppy First Grade and 2 doggy parks. I go to the one on Route 100 near the skate park and another one in Downingtown on Lloyd Ave and there is water to play in there. A big mud puddle and a creek.

I also had my first bath today ( My old mom used her body gel and now I smell like a cucumber or watermelon or some girly smell like that) after my muddy adventure at the doggy park. I would rather she would have used Old Spice at least and not this fruity sweet stuff. I tried to roll around in dirt after my bath but she stopped me.

NEWS FROM ACE FOR LAST 2 WEEKS

I am now going to Day care on Thursdays at Toby's K9 Kamp. I have so much fun playing with my 2 pit bull friends and many other dogs. I am so tired when I come home. I hurt my paw last week some time- I had a cut on it and it hurt to walk on. My old mom kept putting ointment on it and now it feels better.

I also went to the Dog Park and chilled with some new dog friends. My sister from California was home and visited and some of my old Mom's friends came over to the house and I made friends with them.

The cat named " Squeaky" is now my friend and we occasionally share a chair and just chat about household things. Things like " what kind of food do you get?" "how do you like that litter box" and other stuff like " the weather and can't wait until spring" then we both go back to being a dog and a cat. I am learning that being mellow and friendly is better than biting and jumping up and getting excited. I guess "I am maturing". Yeah Right!!

My old mom is getting better at putting these movies together for me. My younger mom found out about Doggie Tube. Cool site. I know the puparazzis are going to chase me around again and start snapping those annoying cameras!

I GRADUATED !!! I AM SO GOOD.

I now have graduated the 2nd class of Puppy Kindegarten. I now know how to sit, lay down, stay, leave it and the "Touch command". Here are photos of my friends at class, Murphy(yellow lab who bites my tail), Reilly (my best wrestling buddy), Maggie ( a little long eared dog), Daisy (a white powerpuff girlie dog), Romeo ( the little guy dog here who likes Maggie) and Dory ( the nervous dog who is smarter than all of us but not too friendly)

I am tired now and ready to go home and sleep.

MY FIRST CHRISTMAS

I helped with putting the tree and lights up last night. I have a stocking hung on the fireplace. I tried to eat tree decorations but my "young mom" and my sister removed them from my mouth. I also had fun chewing on the trees' branches - it is an artificial tree so it doesn't taste very good but my chewing really got my "young mom" and sister stirred up. Yelling and jumping around.... Fun to watch! Check out my collage of photos. I included photos of the darn cats!!! I know their hiding spots.

Weekend with my family

I went kayaking at Marsh Creek with my 2 Moms. The water was really choppy and scary for me. My PFD did not fit me so going out in the boat without was scary too. I kept standing up and rocking the boat and both my Moms were telling me to sit down. The water was cold so I decided to sit down and enjoy the ride. Sunday was a lazy day and I slept alot- both my Moms had things to do around the house. I hate the vacuum cleaner - it is loud and it looks like a monster. I laid on sofa and watched tv. I chased a couple cats and they hissed at me. Oh well - some day they will be my friends. More news tomorrow

A Lazy Day for me

My older sister, Christy took me on a walk around the neighborhood and it was really fun. I took a small walk with my younger MOM but didn't go far. When my real mom got home she took me out in our yard and it was full moon and very nice night. The wind was blowing and it looked like it was going to rain. I teased my mom and chewed on the leash and played tug of war. Finally we went inside and settled in on my MOms' bed. She wanted to chill so I laid down and fell a sleep early.
Hope for a long walk tonight through the weeds and in streams and see some other dogs, etc.
