FLEA MARKET, NEW KAYAK and DOG PARKS

I have been so busy this summer. I am a regular at the 2 dog parks in the area now. People know me by name. They call me "Ace" and "Ace Ventura" and laugh at me because I like to be friendly with all their dogs. My mom keeps forgetting to take pictures.

The most confusing experience was at the dog park in West Goshen Township near the skate park when there was another dog named Ace there and the family kept calling him and talking about Ace and I got confused "who to listen to". One guy joked that we now had a pair of Aces.

I love the swimming in the creek at Lloyd Ave Park and it is fun to get dirty. Already had one bath before I could go in the house- I was a dirty dog. Mom sprayed me with the hose and shampooed me up and then used dog wipes on my face. I love her...but don't tell her - I have a sensitive side.

The new sit on top kayak is roomy and I can see everything and move around.

I also went to Poconos last weekend and went to my first Flea market. A dog at a Flea market is so funny- I thought "Why is she taking me there- I don't want fleas!" but now I understand she like bargains and shopping.

SWIMMING AT MARSH CREEK

Here is a  movie of my moms and me in a row boat and me swimming in the lake. I am using my tail as a propellor like the electric motor on the rowboat. Look at my life jacket.

ACE KEEPS BUSY

I went to my second softball game. Let me tell you , it is fun. I watch that big white ball going in to batter then it gets hit and people run after it not dogs. Amazing!!!

I want to play tug a war with those people who catch with that yummy big glove that looks like a chew toy. You also get to sit in the stands which I cannot not do- I keep falling off the seat. Today I sat next to a toddler eating french fries- lucky kid. I ate her french fries she dropped after she left.

Alot of fun and new people. Some I like and others I growl at.

I am 1 year old  May 15th and happy as a dog can be.Yahoo!!!!! I have been to Puppy Kindegarten, 1st and 2nd grade- 6 months of training and have earned my American Kennel Good Canine Citizen award(http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/). I love the doggy parks, swimming in the creek  and have made many friends. I go to Day Care once a week.  Lately my old forgetful mom has forgot the camera every time I have done something outstanding so no good photos of me yet. She only has these dumb dumb photos of me. I will have to sign her up for training soon!!  I still love my chew toys the best. Enjoy the dumb photos.

A HOT WEEKEND -IN APRIL

Boy was it hot this weekend, my old mom kept spraying me with the hose and cooling me off. I liked it but don't like it in my face. I went on a long walk with my mom and the ticks were all over me and her. I constantly had my tongue out panting. Finally she went out and got me a wading pool so I could cool off. I liked it. I like sticking my nose under the water and I can get out when I want to.

WILD WEEKEND

On Saturday, I visited the Doggy Park with my two moms. I got real muddy and went wading in the very cold creek water with my doggy friends. I met many nice dog owners too.

On Sunday, I went to Marsh Creek and went kayaking with my old mom with my young mom in another kayak. She took a movie of me. I was captain of my kayak and looked handsome in my new orange PFD. I also look a hike with both moms and went swimming in the cold water almost running into a fish that was floating sideways but still alive.

RAINY DAYS IN APRIL- I AM 11 MONTHS OLD

What have I been doing? I have been going to Doggy Day Care, Doggy Parks, Puppy 2nd grade and sleeping. I have also made a few messes in both my moms' room lately - not sure why? Just bored I guess. Maybe I am sewing my wild oats - whatever that means. or maybe I have cabin fever. I am almost 1 year old.

ADVENTURES IN APRIL

Wow!!! I am busy this month- I am going to Puppy Day Care at Toby's K9 Kamp, going to Puppy First Grade and 2 doggy parks. I go to the one on Route 100 near the skate park and another one in Downingtown on Lloyd Ave and there is water to play in there. A big mud puddle and a creek.

I also had my first bath today ( My old mom used her body gel and now I smell like a cucumber or watermelon or some girly smell like that) after my muddy adventure at the doggy park. I would rather she would have used Old Spice at least and not this fruity sweet stuff. I tried to roll around in dirt after my bath but she stopped me.

RUNNING WITH DEER

I ran with the deer this weekend in the Poconos and nearly lost my mom.

I saw three deer in our back woods and ran off with them. I tried to catch them but didn't then I turned around and started to come back to my mom but got confused. I was up in Poconos and didn't know my way back to the house.

Luckily my mom was nearby with her Jeep and she looked so worried. She yelled "Touch" and my name and I ran full speed to her wagging my tail. I was so glad to see her. I just hoped she didn't smack me for running off. She didn't - she just hugged me and all is well.

A neighborhood family told my mom where I was and they really helped me find my mom.
I was so scared and so was she.

I HAVE A RUNNY NOSE AND COUGH.

Since I am homebound all week with a cold - I am working on my Facebook page. Check it out !I caught some bug at the doggy park so I am on antibiotics. I have a runny nose and cough. I have to stay away from other dogs but I am trying to give my bug to the cats. They are really getting on my nerves. I never can catch them- they are too quick. Damn cats....
